Virtual University of Pakistan is the First University who provide distance learning and completely based on modern technology. Virtual University Degree is recognized and acceptable all over the world. It's a Public Sector University and non-profit institution who's mission is to provide the first class education in every corner of the country. It provides the complete guidance about study and provide the television broadcasts lecture or online lecture facility. It aslo provide the discussion plate form were we can discuss or take help from Qualified Instructors or Professors.

Virtual University Opened in 2002 and in very short time its gain popularity due to quality study and distance program. Virtual University is the worldwide university. Chancellor of Virtual University of Pakistan is The President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

How VU Works:

Virtual University deliver lectures on broadcast television and internet. Lectures of all subject are recorded and updated, lecture recording are provide in the forum of CDs or DVDs, software copy of lectures is available in pdf form or you also take place order for hardcopy and lectures summary provided in ppt slides and other helping material also available. All books and websites which are related to your subject are mentioned in your subject detail on your LMS. The LMS provide the facility of e-mail to each student and a discussion board  within the VU community. VU also provide the Moderated Discussion board where you can discuss each lecture, related problems or question which you want to ask your instructor. Here your instructor reply you within 24hours and solve your problem or give the answer of your question. Assignments, Quizzes and Board is part of your study and you submit within a dead line date. Exams are held online and provide you a specific password which you use in exams. You give exam in VU centres which you choose at the time of making your datesheet. In every semester two exams are held first is after two months and called midterm exam and final which held after two months of mid terms exams. Virtual University provide a healthy atmosphere for exams.
